Project Description

ETG Farmers Foundation has been actively engaging with over 40,000 farmers across Malawi, collecting a database of farmers and researching best agronomic practices and the potential crops suited for the different regions throughout the country.

We conducted workshops and focus groups throughout the country and have worked with sesame seed farmers in the Northern Karonga region, pulses farmers in the Salima region and soya bean farmers in the Southern region of Malawi. The Foundation has also been conducting an in-depth study in how to restore Malawian groundnuts into the international market.
